The annual Bele Chere Festival kicked off Friday, continuing through the weekend. Generally attracting large crowds from all over WNC, Bele Chere features local, regional and national music performers, street musicians, artists and food vendors.

This Friday featured the fusion jazz of the Jonathan Scales Fourchestra and guitarist Aaron Wood’s rock & roll band, with singer Kellin Watson. Despite the cloudy day, the crowd gathered to fill the street over the course of the evening.
