Story Time: French Broad Chocolate Lounge Release Party

Local chocolatiers Dan and Jael Rattigan hosted a release party on Jan. 31 at the French Broad Chocolate Factory and Tasting Room to celebrate their new products, packaging and collaborators.

The event, full to capacity, featured new collaborations with Riverbend Malthouse, Mountain Air Roasting, and Bulls Bay Salt, redesigned packaging produced by Catawba Paper Box, and an open-house tasting of their chocolates.

The Rattigans and their staff also offered guided tours of their factory and conversed with the local community.

According to a press release, “We want Asheville to be the first to taste our four new chocolates, and to see and feel our new storybook-inspired bar packaging.  Our new packaging seeks to tell the stories behind each of our chocolates, be it a special cacao partner, or a local collaborator.  We’re honored to share the fruits of their labor – and ours – with you.”
