The Big Love Fest

On a beautiful Spring day in downtown Asheville, residents and visitors showed their love for local, unchained and independent at The Big Love Fest.

Now in its second year, the festival is organized co-operatively by The Asheville Grown Business Alliance and The Big Crafty and is also partnered with the Asheville City Schools Foundation through its Go Local Card program.

Big Love Fest is sponsored and made possible by over 150 local and independent businesses, crafters, artists, entertainers, restaurants, breweries and non-profits and is free to attend, making it a festival that is truly Asheville – a Spring celebration reminiscent of the inspiring support-local tradition of early Fall’s Lexington Avenue Arts and Fun Festival.

From the website, “We like to think of Big Love Fest as a ritual affirmation of the value of community in commerce and a festive annual showcase of the amazing things Ashevillians are up to.”
