They were there before sunrise today, on a cool, foggy West Asheville morning. In the dark, problems were encountered and solutions devised. There was the power, quick, go to generators. Things not remembered, go get ’em. Eventually, potatoes, eggs, and local meats hit the hot grill, and things were off and running.
Eatbox brings a $4 breakfast to Haywood Road. In the Admiral’s parking lot, every morning from here on out.
Paul Wilson, Meg Alt, and Shawna Hendrix are Eatbox. They have taken the truck to various festivals and events, and have been persistent in obtaining their city food truck permit. They are excited about the location, and the new opportunities.
They hope to announce some lunch and late night locations soon.
Oh, and the breakfast?

Food trucks in Asheville? Any time, day or night, tell me where, and, as the song says…”I’ll be there.”
This one is M-F 7-11am in the Admiral’s parking lot, 400 Haywood Road… there are many more springing up all over
