The Swannanoa Gathering celebrates its 20th year this summer at Warren Wilson College. This month-long exploration of folk music traditions features workshops, classes, dances, jam sessions and performances. Each week focusses on a different aspect of folk music culture beginning with Fiddle Week. Coming weeks will feature traditional folk music, celtic traditions, old-time music and dance, guitar, contemporary and dulcimer weeks. The Swannanoa Gathering continues through August 6.
