Celebrating its 23rd year, Downtown After Five kicked-off the summer season in Asheville on May 20. Free live music and dancing started at 5 pm with food and drink available for purchase. Bayou Diesel focused on performing the powerful Cajun, Zydeco and Mardi Gras style dance music of Louisiana. The performance featured accordion, rub-board, rhythm section and occasional French lyrics. The second set featured The Asheville Horns.
